Giropes debuts at Empack with its new checkweighers

Weighing automation solutions in packaging lines are the main attraction of the fair held in Madrid

Giropes, weighing solutions, participated in Empack 2024, which took place last November 27th and 28th at IFEMA Madrid. The fair brought together more than 150 exhibitors from the packaging and related sectors, and Giropes took the opportunity to present its recently launched automatic weighing controllers.

Checkweighers in the spotlight

The automatic checkweighers GCW-40ST (static weighing) and GCW-100DN (dynamic weighing) were the main protagonists of the event, arousing great interest from the attendees. This is one of the latest launches of the weighing solutions company: a new range in its product portfolio, which introduces great innovations for the control and optimization of packaging lines.

In addition, there were live demonstrations of how the controllers work in the complete circuit, i.e., including their additional complements designed for quality controls: the metal detector, with a high level of sensitivity to detect ferrous and non-ferrous contaminants, or the label applicator, crucial for product identification, traceability, and regulatory compliance.

Not only controllers are part of the complete range of solutions for logistics operations that Giropes presented at Empack. The TP410i pallet trucks with multifunction weigher also caused a great sensation among the public, as well as the Giscale software, ideal for production lines with or without operators, with which the efficiency of the process can be monitored by product, operator, or scale.

Giropes' information and communication technology solutions also aroused great curiosity among the public. Not only Giscale, but Giropes took the opportunity to present other software innovations, such as the formulation software, designed to optimize and guarantee absolute control of production processes and comply with the highest quality standards and regulations. Also, the labeling and traceability software, ETI01, whose objective is to manage the weight and printing of labels, as well as to serialize all the records created and to be able to track them from start to finish.

Giropes' participation in Empack has been a great success, highlighting the great expectation generated around the latest innovative solutions for weight control in packaging lines.
