New IP69K certifications in Giropes cells

After the launch of the GI400-EX and GI410-EX indicators for ATEX zones, Giropes is taking further steps towards incorporating its equipment into the most demanding environments, whether due to the danger of explosion or in environments with high exposure to water. The new IP69K certification ensures that the G4M, G1i, G5i and G8R cells are suitable for use in high pressure water jet cleaning applications. This allows the use of these cells in sectors which are more demanding in terms of cleaning such as the meat industry, the food industry in general, weighing at vehicle cleaning points or any other environment where an extreme level of cleanliness is required. The tests for IP69K require the parts to be subjected to stringent testing with high-pressure water jets, with nozzles placed in different positions at a distance of 100 to 150mm and with a pressure of 100bar, a temperature of 80ºC and a high flow rate of 15l/min.
