In this case study we will talk about the project carried out for one of the most important national companies dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of snacks, dried fruits and nuts and potato chips. Founded in 1963, Frit Ravich is based in Maçanet de la Selva (Girona) and has decided to use Giropes technology for the control and weight management of its products.

With a wide range of products in their catalog, they will use BMS single cell scales built in stainless steel together with GI410i indicators with LCD display and IP65 resistance during the weight control processes in their packaging line. The use of the BMS together with the GI410i allows the verification of the equipment. With the Giscale software, designed for production lines, they obtain traceability of all weighing operations to comply with the effective weight standard.

Giscale is a software that facilitates and accelerates control management, allowing the implementation of the Industry 4.0 concept by centralizing and providing objective and reliable data in real time for processes such as production control, quality control, shrinkage or optimization of weighing process times.

Integrated with the Frit Ravich management software, Giscale has streamlined the process of implementing semi-automation of the lines, increasing their productivity and product quality.
