Pioneers in soil stabilization with laser, GPS and satellites, with more than 30 years of experience and with the capacity to move 45,000m3 of earth per day, Can Pipa is positioned as a clear reference in the treatment of aggregates, earthmoving and public works located in the northeast of Catalonia.

Founded in 1987 by 4 brothers, Can Pipa is undoubtedly a success story in its own right. Growing steadily, throughout its history it has carried out more than 1,000 works and currently has more than 225 machines of its own, a quarry, an aggregate treatment plant and a plant for topsoil.

In the first phase, the Can Pipa facilities had a scale for weighing trucks with an operator in charge of controlling and managing the daily weighing. Subsequently, they decided to upgrade this system by transforming the scale into an unattended weighing station by installing a GST2 terminal.

As a last update, they have decided to renew their GST2 terminals for the latest Giropes GST4 models and combine them with various control equipment consisting of CCTV cameras and traffic lights that make the flow of traffic in the raw material extraction areas much more comfortable.

All this system is possible thanks to Gestruck software, a program that offers complete control of vehicle weighing operations and has a fast and intuitive interface to help obtain the desired data as accurately as possible.
