Installation of our galvanised BPPCE EVO weighbridge for the livestock slaughterhouse, Escorxador Frigorífic Reixach S.L in Hostalric, Girona. Escorxador Frigorífic Reixach S.L is a company dedicated to the cutting and packaging of fresh, packaged and frozen products. The company has more than 20 years of experience in this industry, producing over 60,000 tons per year, which are exported to more than 20 countries. Its more than 10,000 m2 of warehouse and a staff of more than 200 workers have turned the company Escorxador Frigorífic Reixac into a benchmark company in the area. To control the weighing on entry of the live animal, it is essential to have optimum management of the product. In order to have this control, Giropes has installed a BPPCE EVO scale, galvanised and embedded in the ground, with an automation system. Our BPPCE EVO scale allows you to control the weighing of incoming vehicles and lorries. It consists of a weighbridge scale embedded in the ground, 16 m long x 3 m wide and with a capacity of 60 tons. Due to the hygiene requirements of the industry, the weighbridge has been installed with a galvanised finish, protecting the equipment against corrosion and providing longevity to a weighbridge with very high cleaning requirements such as those demanded by sectors like the meat industry. The automation system consists of a GST2 self-service terminal with RFID reader, intercom and camera to recognise and record the license plates of heavy goods vehicles. Thanks to the automation system, Escorxador Frigorífic Reixach now have total control of the vehicles and their weight at the entrance of the live animal load, both automatically with the GST2 terminal and the Gestruck One software and manually with the GI430 alphanumeric indicator with built-in printer.
