Optimization of the inbound and outbound truck process

Located in the heart of the Alt Empordà and close to the Giropes facilities is one of the best milk producing farms in the province of Girona, the SAT Alt Empordà cattle farm, which has more than 700 cows installed in a privileged environment, very close to the "Aiguamolls de l'Empordà).

On this occasion the product installed was a truck scale model BPPCE EVO of 18 meters long and a width of 3.30 meters ideal to avoid possible chafing or wear on the sides of the weighbridge. With this model SAT Alt Empordà ensures a scale prepared to withstand intensive, demanding and reliable use during the weighing of approximately one million liters per month that they distribute to different producers in the country.

The scale was installed integrated into the floor with a simple cubicle and was accompanied by several safety elements such as rolling guides, a speed bump at the access point to the scale and a GST4 self-service terminal with RFID system to control the traceability of each milliliter of milk that leaves their facilities.

Connected to Gestruck Pro software, the GST4 terminal becomes an unattended management module capable of operating without the need for any operator to check in or check out trucks on site.
