Vins i Caves Perelada trusts Giropes again after the success of its previous weighing project

Giropes, a specialist in industrial weighing solutions, has installed a new BPCTH pit-mounted truck scale, just as it did in 2022 at the site of the prestigious wine and cava producer. This weighbridge allows for precise truck weight control for vehicles entering and leaving its production and storage center at the Empordà Internacional industrial park in Vilamalla.

Following the success of their 2022 collaboration, when Giropes supplied another scale for Perelada’s new winery, the company has once again worked with Colomer-Rifà, specialists in architecture and engineering. In addition, both companies have partnered with Rubau Tarrés for the civil works of the new weighing station.

Giropes has installed the weighbridge at Celler del Pescador, a wine brand of Perelada Vins i Caves, in Empordà Internacional in Vilamalla. Its primary function is to monitor truck weight for inbound and outbound logistics.

Every day, 8 to 10 tanker trucks arrive at the facility, while others transport bottled products. With an annual production of over 3 million liters, having an accurate truck scale is essential for logistics and weight control.
